Hello and welcome to our blog.
For prospective students we realize that selecting a medical school is a big decision; as such we hope to provide you with as much information as possible to help you make an informed choice.
Therefore this blog will keep you up to date with news from our schools, programs, faculty and students.
For current and graduated students the blog will be an important information resource and will help grow our community.
Our blog, which starts today, is part of the improvements we have made to our websites. Our new sites contain comprehensive information about student life, academics and admissions.

OUR MISSION
Our Bonaire school opened in 2001 with a mission to help motivated students realize the dream of a medical career irrespective of their ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds.
In 2010 we opened our Anguilla school to provide even more opportunities for students. We currently have more than 250 students across both schools, with more than 200 students carrying out their clinical clerkships in the United States.
GROWING NEED AND RISING COST
Despite the growing demand for qualified physicians, the ever increasing costs and limited spaces make it very hard for students to embark on their medical qualifications.
The SJSM goal is to provide an affordable medical education to individuals throughout the world who wish to pursue their dream of a career in medicine. We are committed to training students to think, to solve problems, and to apply their knowledge to the care and well being of their patients, and society. It is our belief that a high quality medical education should be affordable and accessible to everyone.
SPRING SEMESTER
The deadline for our spring applications is November 1st, 2010, so if you have a passion for medicine then please contact us and we will be happy to tell you more about the great student and life opportunities that await you in Bonaire and Anguilla.
