According to the Gallup Poll, it’s estimated that about one-fourth of the population visits an emergency room a given year. Within the last year, 27% of American adults 18 years and older reported that they have been to a hospital emergency room, and 10% who have been there at least twice.
A day in the life of an ER hospital doctor is very challenging but just as rewarding and shows us the skills required to be successful: keeping a level head, asking the right questions, determination and more. Many of our students have gone on to become experts in the emergency room, and it is easy to see why they are so passionate about their line of work!
