Medical News Spotlight: Music on the Brain

The faculty and advisors at Saint James School of Medicine continuously look for new an inventive ways to approach their respective medical disciplines, in order to provide students with a more comprehensive and impactful education with present-day relevance. At last year’s TEDxWaterloo, cognitive neuroscientist Jessica Grahn gave a great lecture on how something people enjoy every day–music–can have short-term and long-term impacts on brain functioning and health.
