Some of the more common skin diseases includes: eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, and nail infections. Our skin is the the largest organ and also the first to protect our bodies and organs from injuries; therefore a dermatologist has a very important function in the medical field.
Upon completing medical school, dermatologists are required to complete an internship at a hospital or clinic, in addition to a residency program in which s/he sees, diagnosis and treats patients with skin issues.
