SJSM Health Fair Gains Coverage in The Anguillian

Last month, Saint James School of Medicine Anguilla was featured in The Anguillan newspaper after hosting its annual Health Fair for those in need of routine check-ups and tests. Visitors were afforded health tests including blood pressure and blood sugar checks, physicals and even stress level tests. Students and faculty used their skills to help members of the community in need of service. While the Health Fair created immediate benefits for members of the Anguilla community, the event was also an opportunity for students to practice their studies in a professional environment and gain hands-on experience. The SJSM Anguilla school looks forward to its next fair, and other upcoming community engagement programs!
