The Saint James School of Medicine community is thrilled to introduce you to our new Provost, Dr. Hugh Duckworth, MD. Dr. Duckworth has over 30 years of experience working in a variety of high intensity, crisis intervention, emergency healthcare settings. He's also spent time working in medical management and leadership roles.
Dr. Duckworth has experience as Owner and CEO of Home Helpers, a one-on-one professional, compassionate in-home care service. He also has past experience as the Executive Dean at Saba University School of Medicine, along with working at St. Jude Incorporated, Methodist Health Care Systems, Henry County Medical Center and more.
As someone who is consistently achieving results through cohesive team building, organizational skills, communication and attention to detail, Dr. Duckworth is going to make a wonderful addition to our talented team. With the semester well under way, Dr. Duckworth is excited to meet all the friendly faces here at SJSM.
