Last semester was the first for Tufaan Dance Crew, SJSM’s first-ever Bollywood dance team! The newly formed SJSM club stole the show during the recently held talent show. The team had regular weekly practices at which participants learned various Indian dancing styles. Students and
even faculty learned some new moves to add to their repertoire. As a team, they entered SJSM’s Talent Show and won first place.
The Tufaan Crew also recently held a Bollywood Night on the St. Vincent campus. The event included South Asian cuisine, Bollywood dancing, musical acts and an appearance by DJ Afghoon. They collaborated with AMSA, the Doctors of Tomorrow, Phi Chi and others. SJSM is looking forward to another semester of dancing with the club's own events in the making.
