Academic Excellence Scholarship

Academic Excellence Scholarship is created to recognize and financially support the students who consistently show excellent academic achievements. Any current student who receives a final grade of “A” in a major course*, will receive a one-time $500 scholarship posted to their financial account with the school. A credit will be processed for each final “A” grade received in major courses*.

This scholarship will no longer be offered after Spring 2026 term.

Criteria:

• Must be enrolled full-time with the school
• Must be in good financial and academic standing
• Must not have any disciplinary actions against them

Rules and Restrictions:

• *Major Courses are defined as courses that have an NBME shelf examination at the end of the course.
• Student must have no previous course failures.
• This scholarship can NOT be combined with any other scholarships or discounts.
• This scholarship applies ONLY to students in the Basic Sciences component of the MD program.

Application:

• Students who meet the above mentioned criteria will automatically receive the scholarship when processed.
