New Core Rotations Process at SJSM

In order to ensure that students here at SJSM are fully prepared for all portions of the USMLE, we've taken the time to make some changes to the program. Take a look at the new guidelines for the clinical rotations process. Core Rotations Effective April 1, 2016 (previously announced) – All students starting a core rotation this date or later will be required to take the NBME Subject Exam for that rotation. Adjusted score will count towards 25% of the rotation grade.

• $150 fee will be charged for each exam to be paid during the next billing cycle.

Effective May 1, 2016 – All students starting a core rotation this date or later will be added to a course for the rotation in MySJSM. Students will be required to complete one case a week. They will not be calculated in the grade; however all must be completed to get credit for the rotation.
