Why I love teaching:
I am a medical doctor with more than fifteen years of academic experience, teaching medical students General and Systemic Pathology.
I am a pathologist, Board Certified in Pathology by American Board of Pathology and I have Full Medical License in State of Pennsylvania.
I completed my residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at University of Illinois at Chicago and a Fellowship in Hematopathology at University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona.
During my academic years I developed and provided students with approved syllabi and learning objectives. I organized, prepared, and regularly updating course content. I delivered effective lectures in the classroom and laboratory utilizing a variety of teaching techniques and state of the art teaching technologies. I prepared and administered examinations, grading in a timely manner, and providing feedback to students. I focused on student success by being available to students during non-teaching time and I served on faculty committees.
I am a hard-working, resourceful, creative, and solution-oriented physician, able to come up with new and innovative approaches to my students. I function well as a team leader when required, and also work effectively as a team member under the direction of other team leaders.
