  Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a primary ovarian defect associated with a variety problems, symptoms and signs. Patients feel frustrated and anxious about their ability to become pregnant, about their weight, acne, excess body and facial hair, and general  lack of control over their health and bodies. The ability to have a child in women that want a child is probably the most frustrating aspect of this condition. Can the current treatment protocol be improved? SJSM student  tried to find the answer.
