Analysis of Zinc and Vitamin C as Combined SARS-CoV-2 Treatment: Systematic Review
Investigators: Saleh Houshmand Siva Balu Behnam Pitlan George Glasgow Mentor: Dr. Daphne Santhosh, PhD The integrative approach to all diseases is appealing – for both well known old diseases and new ones, particularly if the cure is not discovered yet. Some approaches have theoretical explanations, some do not. Some are given “ex juvantibus” and some are considered placebo. Many supplements are prescribed these days as being safe for prevention and are considered as treatment options for Covid-19 infections. As part of their research project; a group of SJSM students researched the evidence of the effects of two commonly prescribed supplements. The following are the findings of the study.
