Saint James School of Medicine is an international medical school based in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Saint James School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Commission on Colleges of Medicine (ACCM). ACCM first accredited SJSM in 2019 and most recently renewed that accreditation in May 2025, valid through December 31, 2028.

The U.S. Department of Education's National Committee on Foreign Medical Education and Accreditation (NCFMEA) has determined that ACCM uses accreditation standards comparable to those used to accredit medical schools in the United States. ACCM is also recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

SJSM is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools with an ECFMG Sponsor Note. The Sponsor Note appears on a school's World Directory listing and is used to confirm whether students and graduates meet ECFMG eligibility requirements.

For students working toward medical practice in the United States or Canada, these recognitions matter because they connect directly to eligibility for required licensing and certification steps.
