CIMT College’s Diploma in Pre-Health Sciences is specifically designed to provide thorough pre-med training. Over 80 CIMT College diploma students have been accepted to medical schools in the Caribbean in the last few years alone. The CIMT College pre-med program is 750 hours of in-class training, provided over 50 weeks, supplying students with fundamental knowledge in Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Medical Terminology, Biology, Histology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, and much more.
CIMT College welcomes all High School diplomas to begin the Diploma in Pre-Health Sciences. You do not need an undergraduate degree! And students are not required to have an MCAT!
Once students have earned their Pre-Health Sciences diploma from CIMT College, they have guaranteed acceptance into Saint James School of Medicine, with no further review of credentials. At Saint James School of Medicine, students will study basic science courses for two years, write the USMLE Step 1, and proceed into a clinical rotation in Canada or the USA.
This career path enables students to fast track their MD dream by reaching residency in only 5 years, as opposed to the regular 9 year plan. And remember, students do not require an undergraduate degree or MCAT.
