Having full-text access to thousands of medical eBooks means you're never without a reliable reference, whether you're reviewing anatomy before an exam or looking up a histology slide during a late-night study session. As more subject areas are added to this list, students will be able to find recommended eBooks for nearly every course in the curriculum.
Browsing by subject is especially useful when you're reviewing for a specific course or exam, since you can jump straight to the chapters most relevant to what you're studying rather than searching through a physical textbook. Many of these platforms also include built-in search tools, image libraries, and self-assessment questions that go beyond what a printed textbook offers. If there's a title or subject area you'd like to see added to this list, let the Library know and we'll look into adding it.
Because these eBooks live online rather than on a shelf, they're also a practical option for students completing clinical rotations away from campus, where carrying a full set of physical textbooks isn't realistic. A quick search within AccessMedicine can often answer a clinical question on the spot, whether you're trying to confirm a dosing guideline or review the presentation of a condition you've just encountered on the wards.
